Login Issues
1. How can I change my password?
You can change your password at any time by using one of a couple methods:
A. While logged into you computer, hit "Control - Alt - Delete" and choose "Change password"
B. Browse to the IT Intranet page ( https://comresearch.sharepoint.com/sites/InformationTechnology ). Under "IT Quick Links", select "Change Password". You can use this method if you are offsite and not on a CRF computer.
IMPORTANT: Remember to change your password on ALL devices that access CRF resources at the same time when you change your password (otherwise you're password may get "locked out"). So for example, if you have a desktop, laptop and a phone that access CRF email, you should do the following:
1. Change the password on your desktop first.
2. Boot up your laptop and login with new password
3. Change the "Exchange" email password on your phone
2. My account is locked out. How do I unlock?
Your computer account will "lock" if your password is incorrectly entered 10 times in a row. IMPORTANT: The account will "unlock" itself after a 1/2 hour period.
A. If you are locked out, you can have your Office Manger or AA create a ticket on the help desk to unlock your account. We will notify your Office Manger or AA when the account is unlocked.
B. You can call in to IT support and have your account unlocked.
3. I don't remember my password. Can it be reset?
Yes, we will reset your password if you cannot remember. Best way to do this is to call into IT Support and we can reset your password on the fly.
4. How do I login to Intranet and other CRF Resources while offsite or at home?
Always use your full email address as your account name when logging into the CRF Resources at home. This is especially crucial to know for the Intranet. . For example, if your name is John Smith, then use [email protected] to login to the Intranet while at home.
5. I can login to the Intranet, but am having trouble with ESS ,Timesheets or Relias.
These different applications have different methods of logging in... and are different from your general "computer/email" account login.
A. For ESS, contact HR
B. For Timesheets, contact [email protected]
C. For Relias, contact the Training Department
Please verify specific primary contacts for these by going to "Contact Information" on the Intranet.
