1. What is the mission of the CRF IT Department?
The IT department realizes that providing mental health services is the primary agenda for CRF. Therefore, our mission is to provide efficient, cost effective solutions and a solid underlying infrastructure for a more reliable and scalable system. In turn, this provides a solid information environment which allows all CRF employees seamless access to data and services. CRF employees can then concentrate on being efficient at their daily activities and providing excellent services to clients and other staff.
2. What services are offered by CRF IT?
A. Computer/printer equipment purchasing, configuration, setup, troubleshooting and security
B.. Network management – setup network connectivity including data/server access, Internet, wifi and other network services
C. Electronic Security – Development and management of all electronic security and policies (encryption, data/user access security, network security, etc.)
E. Electronic Solution Consultation – IT wants to work with staff to make their work day easier and more efficient by working together to come up with efficient, cost effective solutions
F. User/Email account creation, maintenance and termination
G. Software installation and troubleshooting
H. Server installation, maintenance and troubleshooting (databases, email, file servers, web servers)
3. Where would I find the general Electronic Policies and Procedures?
The Policies and Procedures for Electronic security and usage can be located on the Intranet ( https://comresearch.sharepoint.com/sites/PoliciesandProcedures ). Look under "Policies and Procedures" and under the "1400" section. Polices include:
